"Veronica Mars" is a teenage
girl who solves crimes, which she learned
from her dad, the town sheriff. She is
funny, smart, and spunky, but tragedy and
darkness have tainted her life. Although
she's in high school, her life is anything
but normal, especially once her best friend
is murdered.

Amanda Seyfried (Lilly) appears on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" Thursday, 2/16 on NBC.
Kristen Bell does the narration on "Gossip
Girl". She stars in the new show "House of Lies"
on Showtime and does the voice of Megan in the
new FX animated series "Unsupervised" and stars
in the new movie "Movie 43", out in April.
She also appears on "Chelsea Lately" Thursday,
2/2 on E! as well as a rerun of the show 2/10,
on "Conan" Wednesday, 2/6 on TBS, and also on
"The Ellen Deneres Show" Tuesday, 1/31.
Lisa Rinna (Lynn Echolls), who created the role
of Billie Reed in 1992, and returned again from
2002-03, is heading back to Salem. The story,
first reported on The Huffington Post blog, says
the actress will return in December.
Jason Dohring (Logan) has a recurring role on
"Ringer" on The CW.

Showtime's next dark not-a-comedy, “House of
Lies” — which really could be the name of any of
their shows — is based on the book of the same
name with the subtitle: How Management
Consultants Steal Your Watch and Then Tell You
the Time. The show stars Don Cheadle and Kristen
Bell, who will presumably play a strong,
conflicted woman.
