was born on February 18 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and
grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She was bitten by
the acting bug when she performed in a summer camp

developed throughout high school and continued on to the

this period she appeared in such summer stock and
repertory company productions as "Uncle Vanya" and "The

led to many wonderful reviews and an appearance on the
cover of Canada's TV Guide Magazine. Signed by the
prestigious William Morris Agency she moved to
Hollywood. As a Universal contract player she guest
starred in many dramatic television episodes on programs
like "Cannon," "Barnaby Jones," "Kojak," "Gunsmoke," and
"Marcus Welby, M.D." She also starred in both television
and feature films such as "The Fortunate Painter, "The
Storm", "The Peace Killers," and "Monkeys in the
Attic."
Her stellar daytime
career began with the role of Kelly Harper in the
daytime drama "Capitol" on the CBS Television Network.
