CBS soaps will not air on Labor Day Monday or on Friday, September 5, due to the U.S. Open. 

For the first time ever, Y&R will be shooting on location in Paris in October, 2008, which precedes the series' upcoming 20th anniversary year in France where it airs as "Les Feux de l'Amour."

Y&R reached 1000 consecutive weeks as the #1 rated daytime drama series against regular scheduled programming, according to Nielsen ratings for the week ending February 29, 2008.  Way to go, Y&R!
