Mitch: I don't tolerate betrayal. Goodbye, Dorian.

[Music plays]

Al: That was Midnight Logic, coming to you 3/4 live from Llanview's Capricorn. It's the witch folks. But don't despair. What was there in the daylight is still there in the dark, just a little more mysterious. And while we're on the subject of mystery listen to this.

Roxy: Body meets a body comin' through the rye when a body kisses a body comin' through the -- ah! I -- I thought you were spending the night with Mickey-Angelo.

Natalie: He had something he had to do.

Roxy: At midnight? Oh, yeah, right. Who's he doing it with? Or should I say to?

Rex: This is the driver I was telling you about.

Cristian: Cristian Vega.

Rex: This is Cole Avery.

Cole: Sit.

Cole: Ok, Vega. Why should I cut you in?

Cristian: Well, you need a driver, right? I work for Asa Buchanan. I'm his chauffeur.

Cole: Hmm.

Cristian: I hate the guy.

Cole: Interesting.

Cristian: The pay's not bad -- it's pretty good, actually -- but I have to roll over every time the guy says so.

Cole: Your brother's a cop.

Cristian: Yeah. So?

Cole: Big Catholic family like yours, you two probably are really tight.

Cristian: My brother's never done me any favors. Ask rex.

Rex: Yeah, he locked him up.

Cristian: Look, I don't want be a servant my whole life, man, and I got a girl I want to marry. I want to make sure she gets everything she wants.

Cole: You want in, you got to hold your own.

Cristian: Understood. Just tell me where and when.

Cole: Just know that if you mess with me, you're dead.

Cristian: Got it.

Antonio: Mitch isn't here?

Jessica: He was here. He left.

Antonio: I'm having one of my men take you home right away.

Jessica: No, no. If you do that, he won't come near this place.

Antonio: Yeah, well, he'll be in cuffs so fast, he won't even know you're gone.

Jessica: Not if he sends somebody ahead of him. Then you'll have nothing to show for tonight all over again.

Antonio: Fine.

Jessica: No, it's not fine. I'm really tired of Mitch running around free, hurting the people that I love.

Antonio: Ahah, well, we all are.

Jessica: Well, then it's settled. I'm staying. Unless you want to lock me up again, which was so effective last time.

Man: Maybe we should head back.

Mitch: Would you rather I use a phone that can be traced?

[Phone rings]

Mitch: Yes?

Man: Do not go back to the lake house.

Mitch: Who is this?

Man: Do not go back.

Lindsay: Jen. Hey!

Jen: Hi, mom.

Lindsay: Hi, sweetie! What are you doing? Come sit down. I thought visiting hours were over.

Jen: Yeah, the nun at the desk felt sorry for me and she said you were still up, so --

Lindsay: Yeah, I'm waiting for Will to call. You know, it's three hours earlier where he is.

Jen: Yeah, I know.

Lindsay: I'm happy to see you.

Jen: I should've come sooner.

Lindsay: No, I didn't want you to see me like that.

Jen: You're feeling better?

Lindsay: Yeah, I'm feeling a lot better. They have me on a new drug. They actually have me on a lot of new drugs. It's called a cocktail. Can you imagine? I feel almost normal.

Jen: You look better, and you're reading.

Lindsay: Yeah. Terrible book. Maybe if you come visit me, the next time you could bring me a better one.

Jen: Sure.

Lindsay: You still living at the palace?

Jen: That didn't work out. I'm staying at your place at the gallery right now.

Lindsay: I thought you didn't want to stay there.

Jen: Where else am I going to go? You know, Will wants to sell dad's house.

Lindsay: Honey, what's wrong? What's the matter?

Jen: Everything. Everything. My life is just such a mess.

Lindsay: Aw.

[Phone rings]

Lindsay: Oh, this is probably your brother.

Jen: Answer it.

Lindsay: Hello?

Mitch: Don't tell me they're letting the lunatics answer the phone at the asylum now. So nice to hear your voice again. Someone had actually told me that you'd killed yourself. In a moment of weakness, I thought I was being haunted by your ghost.

Lindsay: What do you want?

Mitch: Just a friendly warning -- keep to yourself, Lindsay. We wouldn't want any innocent bystanders to get hurt.

Lindsay: "Innocent bystanders"?

Mitch: Dorian's dead, and you're next.

[Gunshot]

Nora: Was that --

Viki: Oh, my god. We'd better get in there.

Nora: I'm calling the police.

Viki: It's open, Nora. Dorian?

Nora: Careful.

Viki: Dorian?

Dorian: Help!

Viki: Dorian?

Dorian: Help, please.

Nora: Yes, we need an ambulance --

Viki: Oh, my God! Oh, my God.

Nora: Sent immediately to Llanfair.

Viki: Dorian, it's all right.

Nora: It's 1177 Regency Drive.

Dorian: Mitch -- Mitch -- you have to stop him.

Viki: No, don't try and talk, please. Save your strength.

Dorian: Blair -- Blair --

Viki: Dorian, shh, shh.

Dorian: Blair --

Viki: Dorian? Oh, my God, no, hang on. Please hang on, Dorian!

[Radio plays]

Joey: Well, here's to your first gold record.

Flash: Yeah. How many famous people do you know that got their big breaks laid up in a hospital bed with a wrecked throat?

Joey: You know, that's going to make a great story for the talk-show circuit.

Flash: I just -- I can't believe -- I still don't know how this all happened.

Joey: I was at Capricorn --

flash: Uh-huh?

Joey: Waiting on you, and I had that C.D. You gave me in my pocket and I was raving about you.

Flash: Stop it.

Joey: You're just going to have to get used to that. Ahem. Anyway, the voice of the night is a bona fide genius.

Flash: No. No, no, no, I owe this to you, Rev.

Joey: No. You did this. You are an amazing singer.

Flash: Not now I'm not.

Joey: So what? You know, you are just building up the mystery for when you do come back.

Flash: Whenever that is.

Joey: It'll be soon. But for now, enjoy this. Nobody deserves it more than you.

Al: When things get rocky, why ask other people what to do? What do they know? Ask your heart what's real, who's real. That's where you'll find the answer. All it takes is a little trust.

[Music plays]

Roxy: Hey, let me do that.

Natalie: It's ok.

Roxy: No. Come on. I'm a professional. I'm sorry I stuck my big hoof in my mouth. You looked so sad before. Cristian turned out to be a frog in sheep's clothing, Just like all those other guys.

Natalie: He's not cheating on me.

Roxy: Well, at least I got a good one. Maybe you got a good one, too, but the chances of that are slim and dimmer.

Natalie: Who is your mystery man, anyway?

Roxy: Uh, I'm not going to tell you yet, you know, not till after opening, after I'm queen of the hair world.

Natalie: What's this?

Roxy: And after I tell Asa that he can take his tax write-off and he can stick it where the sun don't shine.

Natalie: Roxy, what -- what are these still doing here? These were supposed to go out last week!

Roxy: Yeah, well, I gave one to Nigel.

Natalie: One? How is anybody going to know this place is even here?

Roxy: Hey, hey, hey, kiddo, come on, relax. Because come tomorrow morning, we're going to have to beat them off with a stick.

[Phone rings]

Cristian's voice: Hello, this is Cristian. You know what to do.

[Answering machine beeps]

Cole: All you do is you pull up where I tell you and leave the engine running. Clear?

Cristian: How many guys are involved in this?

Cole: Don't get nosy.

Cristian: Hey, look, man, I'm sharing the risk in this thing. I at least want to know what's going down. Like what are you going to do if you run into security?

Cole: Security? The gallery's managed by some local society princess with too much time on her hands.

Rex: Nobody's going to get hurt.

Cristian: What, are you psychic now?

Cole: Hey, what's your problem, Vega?

Rex: He knows Jessica Buchanan.

Cole: I know he does. I saw him with her.

Cristian: Look, Jessica's not going to give you any trouble. She might chip a nail, if you know what I mean. But I'm not in on this if somebody's going to get hurt.

Cole: Just chill, brother. The job's a piece of cake. I'll be in touch.

Cristian: You know where to find me.

Rex: So what do you think?

Cole: I said I'd be in touch, right?

Renee: What do you think you're doing here?

Rex: I'm a paying customer.

Renee: Not in my hotel you're not. Saddle up, get out!

Cole: You'd think you might've mentioned to me that you were banned from this place before we held this meeting.

Rex: It's not a big deal. She's just an old battle-ax. So we're all set?

Cole: There's something perfect about using Vega's kid brother to pull this job. And the fact that he's Buchanan's driver makes it even better.

Rex: R.J.'S going to love this. He hates Antonio more than you do.

Cole: You don't talk to Gannon about details. Got it?

Rex: Yeah. Whatever you say.

Antonio: Ok, you can stay. State police have men positioned all over the area.

Jessica: You had me followed, didn't you?

Antonio: Yeah, with good reason.

Jessica: If you weren't so bad-tempered, I'd think that you were worried about me.

Antonio: I am not going to let you get hurt, Jessica, no matter what you pull.

Jessica: I'm still mad at you. But thanks. So, what do we do now?

Antonio: I'll get a signal when Mitch gets close.

Jessica: That could be a while.

Antonio: Yeah, well, don't get too relaxed, ok? Mitch is a stone-cold killer. Don't forget that.

Lindsay: Jen, you have to get out of here. You have to leave now.

Jen: But I just got here.

Lindsay: I don't want you to see me this way.

Jen: It's ok, mom. It's ok. I really need you right now.

Lindsay: Just -- to do what? I can't even take care of myself, Jen. Leave.

Jen: It's ok, mom.

Lindsay: Get away from me! What are you looking at? Get out! Get out! Get out!

Viki: I wish somebody would tell us something.

Joey: Hang in there, mom.

Viki: Why are you here?

Joey: I'm with a friend -- Flash.

Viki: She all right?

Joey: Actually, she has pneumonia, but yeah. Yeah, she's going to be fine.

Viki: Good. How is she?

Troy: Well, she had a good scare and she lost a little blood, but she's very lucky. The bullet only grazed her.

Viki: But she passed out. I couldn't wake her up.

Troy: Yeah, she must have hit her head when she fell, but she's conscious now.

Nora: Can she make a statement?

Troy: Not right now. She does need her rest. But she's asking for you, Mrs. Davidson.

Viki: Excuse me. Ahem. Dorian?

Dorian: Viki. You were right. Mitch doesn't like to be betrayed. Just before I was shot, the doorbell rang. Was that you?

Viki: Yeah. Why?

Dorian: Hmm. Because I turned, and that's what saved my life. You saved my life. Thanks.

Viki: You're very welcome. Would you do something for me in return, please Dorian? Would you please help us to stop Mitch? All it would take would be your testimony. Look, Nora's right outside. I can bring her in. She'll take your statement.

Dorian: I'm tired. Maybe later.

[Music plays]

Cristian: It's kind of early to be icing the champagne, don't you think?

Roxy: Hey, we're going to be celebrating like crazy. You know, Romeo, you didn't sign your masterpiece. Go over there, put your Johnny Hancock on it.

Cristian: Aye-aye, boss.

Roxy: Ooh, I love the sound of that. Hey, Janelle, let's get the nail polish display.

Cristian: Still upset about last night?

Natalie: You know, you told me that you were working when Nigel said that grandpa was --

Cristian: Nigel thought that your grandfather had gone to bed. But Nigel was here. How would he know?

Natalie: I'm sorry. I guess I was just so tired, I jumped to conclusions.

Cristian: You should ask me first next time.

Natalie: So did grandpa say that he was coming today?

Cristian: Nope, no, your grandfather never tells me anything. He usually just yells stuff.

Natalie: Well, I -- I'm going to make him stop sending you out on stupid errands in the middle of the night.

Cristian: Wait a minute, don't get me fired now. We need the money.

Natalie: So, did this errand have anything to do with the gallery?

Cristian: No. No. Why would you think that?

Natalie: Don't know. Something I heard.

Cristian: He wanted cigars. Apparently, it was a national emergency.

Roxy: Ok, ladies and gentlemen, it's time. Janelle, man your station.

Natalie: Go on, get over there and turn on that sign, Roxy.

Roxy: Right. Here I go.

Natalie: It's going to be great!

Roxy: All right, it's official! Foxy Roxy's is open! Ok, folks, it's time to blow-dry and beautify.

Troy: Death sure has a way of focusing the mind, doesn't it?

Dorian: Your point?

Troy: My point is, why don't you stop dragging Blair into whatever it is you're scheming?

Dorian: I would like to go home, today.

Troy: Well, that's too bad, because I'm not ready to release you.

Dorian: Um, I promise that if anything goes wrong, I'll come right back. I can't get any rest here.

Troy: I'll tell you what, why don't you ask me again later today. In the meantime, Nora Buchanan's coming by to ask you a few questions. You may want to prepare yourself for her visit.

Dorian: Oh, no, thank you.

Man: Not hungry?

Dorian: Not my idea of food. You know, I see not much has changed around here since I was on staff, including, no doubt, the salaries they pay orderlies?

Man: I'm a technician, and I pull a lot of overtime.

Dorian: Ah. Notwithstanding, perhaps you'd like to do some freelance work.

Man: Depends.

Dorian: Uh-huh.

Flash: It's about time.

Joey: Guess you feel better.

Flash: Yeah, well, I've been sprung, so get me out of here.

Joey: Hey -- glad you waited for me.

Flash: Yeah, well, I -- I told you that I would. Anyways, let's -- I got to get to the garage to tell the guys how awesome they did.

Joey: No way. You are not going to the garage, and you are definitely not going back to that little unheated hovel that you call home.

Bartender: What can I get for you?

Rae: Oh, nothing, thank you. I'm supposed to be meeting --

Hank: Make sure Lindsay understands this isn't a straight "not guilty." She's going to be spending a long time in a psychiatric facility.

Evangeline: She knows, and she appreciates you letting her stay at St. Ann's.

Hank: Great. So we have a deal?

Evangeline: We do.

Hank: Excellent.

Rae: Uh, am I early?

Hank: Hey. No, not at all. You're right on time.

Rae: Hi.

Hank: Rae Cummings, Evangeline Williamson.

Rae: Hello. Nice to meet you.

Evangeline: My pleasure. So give me a call when the paperwork's ready.

Hank: Will do. Bye.

Rae: Bye. Nice meeting you.

Evangeline: Nice to meet you.

Hank: Join me.

Rae: So, what was that about, Mitch Lawrence? Is this guy finally going to go to jail, I hope?

Hank: No, Lindsay Rappaport, who isn't going to jail, but may soon wish she were.

Dorian's voice: You've reached the Lawrence residence. Please leave a message.

[Answering machine beeps]

Lindsay: Dorian? It's Lindsay. It's -- it's me. You have to call me right away. It's very important. Very important. If Mitch killed Dorian, I could be next. But Jen -- oh, at least my baby is safe.

Jen: Hey, can I get a screwdriver?

Bartender: You got I.D.?

Jen: Sure.

Bartender: One screwdriver, coming right up.

Flash: And where are you planning on taking me?

Joey: Um, first, I'm taking you to the pharmacy. You ever heard the expression "take your medicine"?

Flash: Yeah. Sorry, Rev, but I'm broke.

Joey: So steal my wallet again. Joke? Ha-ha? Remember humor?

Flash: Vaguely.

Joey: I'll front you the money. You can pay me back whenever you start working again.

Man: If anybody finds out about this --

Dorian: Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. Now, then, I really appreciate your trouble, but if your new friend would like to make some other friends, there is something else that I would like you to do for me.

Rae: I don't think so.

[Jen sighs]

[Flash coughs]

Flash: So now are you going to tell me where you're taking me?

Joey: Nope, you're just going to have to trust me. Ready?

Flash: Great

[Coughs]

Joey: Oh! I am so sorry, doctor. I wasn't watching where I was going.

Viki: I don't know why she won't cooperate. I mean, Mitch nearly killed her, for heaven's sakes. I hate to think what's going to happen the next time.

Nora: There won't be a next time because she either talks or else she's going to be thrown in jail for obstructing justice.

Troy: Hey, Nora. Mr. Davidson.

Viki: Good morning, doctor.

Troy: I believe Mrs. Lawrence is expecting you.

Viki: That's so weird. I cannot get used to hearing her called that. Joey. Hi, darling.

Joey: Hi, mom. Doc, has Dorian taken a turn for the worse? I thought I saw a surgeon come out of there.

Troy: What?

Nora: Oh --

Troy: Unbelievable.

Viki: Actually, not really. It's just Dorian being Dorian.

Roxy: I'm going to open that bubbly.

Natalie: No. Stop, that's for the customers --

Roxy: Should've given out those flyers. I am such a bonehead sometimes!

Natalie: Hey, hey, listen, this is just -- it's the first day.

Roxy: Who am I kidding? This is no opening, this is a disaster. Everything I touch is a disaster. I am the biggest loser of all time.

Jessica: Ah. Smells so good.

Antonio: Yeah, it's your basic number three special.

Jessica: Uh, looks like Mitch got word that you were here. Unless he wasn't going to come back in the first place. What's wrong?

Antonio: You didn't get word to him that we were on to something, did you?

Jessica: What?

Antonio: You didn't tell him we were here?

Joey: So. It's not much, but it's better than where you have been staying.

Flash: No way am I taking your bed.

Joey: You're still weak. I'm not letting you go to that place that you call home.

Flash: So where are you going to sleep?

Joey: Oh there's a bed of nails downstairs.

Flash: That's not funny.

Joey: Come on. You know, after a good night's sleep, you might actually discover what a funny guy I really am. What do you say?

Flash: Thank you so much.

Joey: You're welcome. You know, uh, maybe, uh, while you're here, we can actually find C.J.

Flash: Yeah. Yeah, that -- that'd be great.

Joey: Yeah.

Rae: Fine, you don't want to believe me, maybe you'll listen to the district attorney. Hank?

Hank: Oh, hello, Jen. Is there a problem?

Rae: Would you please tell her what happens to an underage girl on probation using a false I.D. In order to buy alcohol.

Hank: Her probation is revoked and she goes to jail to serve out her sentence.

Rae: You see? Now do you believe me?

Jen: What, so I can vote and I can join the army and die, but I can't have a little drink? I mean, I wasn't even driving.

Rae: Ok.

Hank: Jen, you don't want to do this in front of me.

Rae: Uh-uh.

Jen: Why do I care? Join the inquisition.

Rae: Sit down. Come on, sit.

Hank: Uh, you know what, I've got a ton of work on my desk waiting for me.

Rae: Oh.

Hank: I'm going to go take care of that, and you ladies can take care of your business.

Rae: All right, well then I'll see you later, all right?

Hank: Absolutely. And, Jen, don't ever let me catch you trying this again. See you later.

Jen: Ok, give me the lecture.

Dorian: Lindsay?

Lindsay: Oh, oh, oh, thank God you're all right. Oh, Mitch said that he -- he killed killed you.

Dorian: He tried. But I'm tougher than he thinks.

Lindsay: Look, we're in trouble. He knows that Blair lied when she told him that I killed myself, and now he's going to come after me.

Dorian: No, no, no. I'll make sure that he doesn't hurt you.

Lindsay: But he tried to kill you. We have to do something or he's going to -- we're going to both wind up dead!

Dorian: Shh, shh, shh. Don't worry. Trust me, ok? It's finally time to turn the tables on Mitch.

Rae: Jen, I don't want to lecture you. I just -- I'm a little worried about you. What's going on? Tell me.

Jen: Don't you read the papers?

Rae: Yes, of course I do. I'm sure all of this is very overwhelming. But, honey, you're not alone. I mean, there are a lot of people who care about you.

Jen: Nobody cares, not even my own mother.

Rae: Well, now, wait. There's -- there's Joe Buchanan.

Jen: He's just the guard on my cellblock.

Rae: No, no, no, that's not true. I know he cares a lot about you.

Jen: Doesn't act like it.

Rae: Honey, he's responsible for your community service, so of course he has to act professional. But I know that he thinks a great deal of you.

Jen: Really?

Rae: Yes. Yes, he speaks very highly of you. He does. You know what, I think you should give him a chance, you know, see how he really feels.

Jen: Ok, I will.

Rae: Good.

Jen: You know, I shouldn't have even come here. I've got tons to do.

Rae: All right, it's all right, you can go. But you know what -- maybe sometime we could sit down and just talk?

Jen: Sure. That'd be great.

Rae: You'll call me, ok?

Jen: I promise.

Rae: Ok.

Nora: Hey.

Officer: Hi.

Nora: How's it going?

Officer: Slow but steady. You might want to take a look at this, ma'am. Here, you'll need these.

Nora: Thank you.

Viki: Oh, boy. Well, Jessica told me that Dorian and Blair were gas-lighting Mitch, trying to confuse him.

Nora: Well, ok. I suppose they succeeded. Then what? What would she do? She has him committed like he's nuts? And then what, tries to take over power of attorney? How long is that supposed to last?

Viki: You know, Nora, I think that may have been the original plan. I have a feeling, however, that Dorian has now decided on something a little more permanent.

Nora: Do I really want to hear this?

Viki: Last night, you know, when she refused to press charges against Mitch? I think it's because she intends to take care of Mitch by herself.

Dorian: Lindsay, I want you to stay focused, ok, because this whole thing will not work without you.

Lindsay: I'm on new medication now. I'm thinking very clearly. But sometimes I wish I wasn't because I'm really scared.

Dorian: It's going to be over very soon, sweetie.

Lindsay: Why aren't you in the hospital? You've been shot.

Dorian: Oh, no, it wasn't serious. The bullet just grazed my shoulder. I heard that the police were on their way to question me and, frankly, we don't have time for that.

Lindsay: Is it safe for you to be out?

Dorian: Hmm, better than lying in the hospital like a sitting duck.

Lindsay: Is this what you wore to sneak out?

Dorian: Oh, actually, I was wearing scrubs. No, there's an entirely different reason for this outfit.

Jen: What do you think you're doing? Didn't you hear anything I said?

Flash: What?

Jen: You selfish little brat! What if somebody saw you here?

Flash: I -- what --

Jen: How did you get in here? If someone finds you in Joe's bed, they'll dump him -- and it'll be your fault. So if you care about anything other than your precious singing career, you're going to get out of here before you cause some serious damage. Come on.

Flash: But Joe brought me here.

Jen: Yeah, right. Come on, get your stuff.

Flash: What am I supposed to do?

Jen: I'll make sure the coast is clear.

Flash: Where am I going to go? I can't just disappear.

Jen: If I can find a place, so can you. Unless you want to ruin Joe's life.

Jessica: Of course I didn't tell Mitch that you were on to him. I -- do you think I want him to get away with everything?

Antonio: He's your father. You haven't exactly been cooperative.

Jessica: Please. You just think that good, little girls should be waiting at home in bed while big, strong men protect them from evil!

Antonio: Do you have any idea how much danger you put yourself in, not to mention everyone else?

Antonio: Look, we're both tense. I'm sorry that I came down on you so hard.

Jessica: Antonio, I -- I did put somebody in danger, and now I'm really scared.

Antonio: Well, who was it?

Jessica: Dorian. She's been playing mind games with Mitch. She's been making him believe that he's hearing things -- footsteps, my grandfather's breathing -- a whole bunch of weird stuff.

Antonio: Whoa, how do you know all this?

Jessica: I saw her the night that you arrested me. But then last night, I -- I really messed up. I told Mitch.

Antonio: Why?

Jessica: I wanted him to think that he could trust me, you know, like I was choosing him. Anyways, he said that he already knew. I don't whether to believe him or not.

Antonio: Look, Dorian knows how dangerous Lawrence is, ok? If -- if she decides to play games --

Jessica: Yeah, but she doesn't know that he's on to her.

Antonio: She's got to know it's a possibility. All right, look, if something happens, then I'm sure the police will get involved and --

Jessica: It can't -- it can't happen. If she gets hurt or worse, I'll never be able to forgive myself.

Antonio: Look, if anyone can stand up to Lawrence, it's Dorian. All right, this place is a washout. Let's go home.

Roxy: Some opening, huh? Not even one damn pedicure.

Janelle: I'm going for coffee.

Natalie: Roxy, it's the first day. You can't expect a miracle.

Roxy: I don't want a miracle. This is Foxy Roxy's. I've been dreaming of something like this my whole doggone life, except that there are people in it.

Natalie: Hey. Hey. You don't want to have raccoon eyes when your first customer shows up, do you? Come on, stop that.

[Phone rings]

Cristian: Hello? Yeah. Ok, yeah, I'll be right there. I got to go to the gallery.

Natalie: What for?

Cristian: Well, I got to go hang up some stuff. I'll see you later, ok? Good luck.

[Cork pops]

Natalie: Stop it! Roxanne!

Roxy: Hmm, no, no, no, no. Come on, hand it over.

Natalie: Look, ok, so today was a bust. Oh, well. You think we're going to give up right now? We're going to get people in here, ok?

Roxy: Yeah, right, even lover boy left. You know why? Because failure is catching.

Natalie: He had to do some work at the art gallery.

Roxy: Hey, listen, kiddo, it's just you and me, and you'd better hold your nose because we're going down with the ship.

[Knock on door]

Joey: Hey, Fla--

Flash's voice: "Hey, rev. Look, I don't want you sleeping on that bed of nails, so I'm crashing with a friend for a few days. Before you blow up, they got heat and running water -- the works. Everything's cool. Later."

Joey: Oh, Flash.

[Joey sighs]

Viki: Well, I am very happy to see you.

Jessica: Dorian wasn't hurt too badly, right?

Viki: No, the bullet just grazed her. Can I tell you, she was so lucky.

Nora: There's a message. May I?

Antonio: Be my guest.

[Answering machine beeps]

Lindsay's voice: Dorian? It's Lindsay. It's -- it's me. You have to call me right away. It's very important.

Nora: Sounds like Lindsay's up to something with Dorian.

Viki: You know, this whole business is getting stranger and stranger.

Antonio: I'm going to get over to St. Ann's, ask Lindsay some questions.

Nora: I'm going to ride along with you -- not that it'll do any good. No matter what she says, she's crazy.

Viki: Hey. Hopefully, it'll all be over soon, darling. They're going to find Mitch, and they've got enough to put him away for the rest of his life.

Jessica: I hope so. I couldn't handle it if anybody else got hurt.

Man: Your wife survived the bullet.

Mitch: Call Johnson. Tell him I want her in the morgue before sundown. And I want Lindsay Rappaport right beside her.

Dorian: How do you do? I'm Dr. Richman. For the time being, anyway. You're being released into my care for further testing.

Lindsay: Oh. Ok.

Dorian: And are you ok about being released from St. Ann's?

Lindsay: Oh, I have to leave because Mitch knows I'm here.

Dorian: Yeah, well, don't worry, we're going to take care of Mitch.

Lindsay: Are you sure?

Dorian: Oh, yes. Mitch is finally going to get everything he deserves.

On the next "One Life to Live" --

Natalie: I want to believe you, but I don't understand why you're keeping things from me.

Jessica: You still don't trust me. That's really why you came here tonight.

Blair: If you were smart, you would leave with me now before it's too late.
