Rick Springfield returns in March as Matt and Patrick's father, Dr. Noah
Drake, to support Patrick after Robin leaves. Springfield, who played Noah from
1981-83 and appeared sporadically from 2005-08, was last seen romancing Robin's
(Kimberly McCullough) mother, Anna.
Kristen Alderson, who signed a 3-year-contract with the show, will appear as
Starr Manning during the week of February 20, followed the following week by her
parents, Blair Cramer and Todd Manning. Michael Easton won't show up as John
McBain until March.
Van Hughes will join Starr in a few episodes as Cole Thornhart.
Alyshia Ochse, who plays Cassandra, the woman in white who has been roaming
Wyndemere, will soon leave the show as her storyline ends. Other newcomers will
also soon depart Port Charles.
Finola Hughes (Anna) returns to Port Charles the week of February 13 as part of
Robin's exit storyline and may stay a while.
Tristan Rogers (ex-Colin, Y&R) will reprise the role of Robin's father,
Robert Scorpio, the week of February 27. The actor last played the super spy on the night-time spinoff
"GH: Night Shift" in 2008.
Kassie DePaiva (Blair), Roger Howarth (Todd), Michael Easton (John), and Kristen
Alderson (Starr), will reprise their OLTL characters and head to GH as part of a
new storyline with Sonny Corinthos at the center of it. They began filming in
late January in LA.
Kirsten Storms will not be able to return to GH at the end of this month as
originally planned. Jen Lilley will continue to play Maxie Jones for the
foreseeable future.
Emma Samms (Holly) is heading back to Port Charles in late February. She'll
likely be a part of Ethan's exit, as his portrayer, Nathan Parsons, will be
leaving later this winter. Holly was last seen in 2009 when viewers learned that
Luke was Ethan's father.
Nathan Parsons (Ethan) is headed out of Port Charles. His on-screen sis Julie
Marie Berman (Lulu) commented in a December 18 Twitter chat that "i am sad abt
nathan, but he wasn't used right. his talent was wasted." Parsons joined the
show in 2009 as Luke and Holly's long-lost con artist son.
Kimberly McCullough (Robin) is leaving to pursue her dream of directing
full-time. She will air into the early months of 2012.
Titus Gabriel Jackson will continue to portray Aiden Webber, despite the departure of
his real-life dad, Jonathan.
