Veronica Lauren joined the cast as Cynthia on April 19, 2001.
Cynthia was first shown in Biology class when Kevin sprayed something on
Chloe's hair. She didn't get a good storyline until after “the island”
storyline.
After “the island,” Cynthia started to date Philip Kiriakis. Chloe Lane
became rather jealous of Cynthia, and Belle comforted her. Finally, after
Cynthia made Philip have one too many beers, she started to make love to him.
Luckily, Philip got a conscience and ran out of the house. Ever since then,
Cynthia has been out for revenge and planned on humiliating Philip at any chance
she got.
Jason Welles and Cynthia got kicked out of "Last Blast 2002" for trying to
play a prank on Mimi, Belle, Shawn, Philip, and Chloe. A month after that,
Cynthia and Jason had blood tests done to see if they were a match for Chloe's
bone marrow transplant.
Cynthia now attends Salem University College and is planning on making Belle
and Shawn's college years a living hell. To this end, she enlisted help from
Cassie DiMera. Her latest prank blew up in her face when her dress caught fire
at the Halloween Dance: she ended up fully naked, embarrassing herself.
