Brandon grew up feeling a lot of hatred: some towards his father but most
for Abe Carver.
Brandon vowed that he would destroy Abe because he felt Abe had destroyed
his family.
He started work at the hospital and became good friends with Lexie
Carver. He also knew about all of Lexie's scenes and plots.
Brandon started to have feelings for Sami but she was committed to
Austin. He dated Jennifer for a while but she was torn between Jack and
Colin and they decided to stay friends instead.
Austin left Sami and left Salem and this opened the door for Brandon. At
that point, Victor blackmailed Sami to stay away from Brandon. Outraged when
Sami called and said she could not be with him, he slept with Lexie. This
was also a good way to get to Abe. When Abe came looking for Lexie, Brandon
made sure he saw Lexie's scarf.
Brandon and Sami finally hooked up. Lexie learned that she was pregnant
and believed Brandon was the father. Sami switched the paternity test
results, so that Lexie would believe that her husband Abe was her child's
father. What Sami didn't know was that Lexie had anticipated that Sami would
switch them and had already done that herself. It turned out that Abe was
actually the father and Brandon's father as well.
Brandon and Sami got married but it was short lived because he found out
about her manipulation in order to keep him. Brandon couldn't deal with
Sami's dishonesty because she promised that she had changed. He left Salem.
