I want to update everyone about the rally today at ABC in
NYC to protest the cancellation of "All My Children and "One
Life to Live." I went into the City since it was a) a
nice day and b) I live close by and wanted to support the
shows.
I have to say that, while I appreciate the people that took
time to go, it only amounted to around 30 people tops. Some
of these people walked down to the building where "The View"
and OLTL tape, and I heard they saw some actors who were
appreciative of their support, but really that was all.
Outside the building at 77 West 66th Street (where they
have offices and do the testing for "Millionaire") the group
was like a drop of water in an ocean. Nobody really noticed.
There were just not enough people to even make a
disturbance. I am sorry it worked out like that. As I said,
the people that took time to go, thank you! Your effort was
in good faith. 
While ABC would NEVER give camera time to soap
supporters, it might have been more effective for people to
show up in the morning during "Good Morning, America." The
studio in Times Square attracts more attention.
